Entry Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be aged 18 or over.

• Have previous professional training or experience in a relevant field.

• Understand basic skin anatomy, infection prevention, client consultation, contraindications and safe needle handling.

Relevant professional backgrounds may include SMP, permanent makeup, micropigmentation, microblading, tattooing, medical aesthetics, hair restoration, beauty therapy or another relevant skin or needle-based treatment.

A previous SMP qualification is beneficial but not compulsory.
